Southport Flower Show returns to Victoria Park from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 August 2026, bringing four days of show gardens, spectacular floral displays, expert advice, food, shopping, live entertainment and family activities.

What can visitors expect?

The centrepieces are the imaginative show gardens and the Grand Floral Marquee, filled with plants, flowers and displays from leading growers. Gardeners can collect practical ideas, ask questions and shop for plants and garden products, while the Cookery Theatre, food outlets, live music and retail areas make this much more than a day for dedicated horticulturalists.

New for 2026, The Lakeside Reset provides a wellbeing and mindfulness area with activities including gentle movement, yoga, breathwork and relaxation sessions. The Potting Shed also returns across all four days with seasonal gardening advice, question-and-answer sessions and demonstrations.

Special guests and entertainment

The announced 2026 line-up mixes gardening, wildlife, cookery and family entertainment:

  • Thursday 20 August: Adam Frost, Lee Burkhill, Iolo Williams, Megan McCubbin and Briony May Williams. The Red Devils Parachute Display Team is also due to perform at noon on opening day, subject to conditions.
  • Friday 21 August: Arit Anderson, Phil Vickery, Su Pollard and Rob Rinder.
  • Saturday 22 August: Joe Swift, Anton Du Beke, Candice Brown and children’s presenter Andy Day.
  • Sunday 23 August: Joe Swift, Justin Fletcher, children’s gardening coach Lee Connelly and Mr Motivator.

Tickets, travel and parking

Advance tickets are available through the official Flower Show website, and the organisers advise booking early. Tickets are flexible for entry on any one show day. PR8 and PR9 residents can also check the official information for the local resident offer.

Southport has direct rail services from Liverpool and regular services from Manchester, Bolton and Wigan. A paid shuttle bus is scheduled between Southport railway station and the showground every 15 minutes on show days. Official all-day parking is listed at Princes Park and Birkdale Park & Ride; parking cannot be pre-booked. Follow the official AA signs as you approach the town.
